Established in 2009, Aasraa Trust works with underserved children in Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal, and Udham Singh Nagar districts of Uttarakhand. Starting with just 35 children living under the Bindal bridge, the trust has grown tremendously, reaching over 25,000 children through more than 80 projects and currently supporting around 11,000 children in education, healthcare, nutrition, and shelter. Aasraa follows a multi-faceted approach that includes facilitating mainstream education, enabling transitions to higher studies or vocational training, supporting out-of-school and special needs children, running shelter homes, and using mobile learning and computer labs to bridge digital and infrastructure gaps. With the dedication of its volunteers and partners, Aasraa Trust is committed to creating opportunities, dignity, and hope for marginalized children, empowering them to lead self-reliant and fulfilling lives.
