Pancar is a modern mobile application launched by the Dharamshala Taxi Union to simplify taxi booking in the region. Available 24/7, the app enables travelers to conveniently book rides from home, eliminating the need to wait at taxi stands. Developed by local youth from Kangra and inaugurated in August 2024 by R.S. Bali, Pancar aims to boost local tourism by offering fast, reliable, and safe travel options. In addition to standard taxi services, the app promotes eco-friendly transportation through carpooling and cargo services, helping users share rides and reduce costs. With features like QR code verification and a trusted carpool community, Pancar is transforming mobility for both residents and visitors in Dharamshala.
