Known affectionately by many fans as “Baba Hansraj Raghuwanshi,” he has become a recognizable name in India's devotional music scene. His songs combine spiritual devotion, energetic music, and heartfelt lyrics, creating a unique listening experience for devotees and music lovers alike. Early Life and Family Background Hansraj Raghuwanshi was born on July 18, 1992, in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. He has roots in Mangal village in the Solan district of the state. Growing up in the peaceful surroundings of Himachal Pradesh, he developed an early interest in music and singing. His father, Premji Raghuwanshi, was associated with a local village mandli, a traditional musical group. Watching and listening to his father perform helped introduce Hansraj to music at a young age. He pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree at MLSM College in Sundernagar, Mandi district, but struggled with his studies and reportedly failed four times. His family's financial difficulties made his journey even more challenging. Rather than giving up on his musical ambitions, he took up work as a college canteen worker and a labourer to support himself and fund his early music and recording efforts. Musical Career and the Breakthrough of “Mera Bhola Hai Bhandari” Hansraj Raghuwanshi's career reached a major turning point in 2019 with the release and widespread popularity of his devotional song “Mera Bhola Hai Bhandari.” Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the song gained enormous attention on YouTube and social media.
